Gedo

With his unmistakable yell and sideline antics, Gedo is a veteran of the business who has had success both in major and independent promotions. After debuting in 1989 and travelling the world with partner Jado at his side, the two finally settled in NJPW and cemented their legacy among the best tag teams of all time with four IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship reigns. Gedo was also a master politician, working his way to several key stables in New Japan, and frequently pulling strings from within each group. Brought into NJPW to join Masahiro Chono's Team 2000, Gedo was later part of CTU, and then the rough bruisers in Togi Makabe's Great Bash Heel. After defecting with most of that crew to join Shinsuke Nakamura and Toru Yano in CHAOS, Gedo became a money making mentor for the group, and found a cash cow in the young, brashly confident Kazuchika Okada. Gedo and Okada was a money partnership for over six years, before Gedo began a new era, joining with Switchblade Jay White and leaping with him from CHAOS to BULLET CLUB. Now in the corner of the Switchblade, Gedo is now just as likely to interject himself and his brass knux into a match as he is to pound the mat in encouragement. He seeks to make sure White sits at the top of the wrestling world; by any means necessary.
