An absolute powerhouse, "Big Mike" is known to bench 250kg with ease. Debuting at the young age of 16 in 2004, he joined ROH in 2011 and won the ROH World Heavyweight belt in 2014. A fan favorite, Elgin made a huge impact upon joining New Japan in during the 2015 G1 Climax, his with his immense strength and impressive speed drawing adoration from fans and fear from his opponents. At Dominion 2016, Elgin substituted for an injured Hiroshi Tanahashi, and defeated Kenny Omega in NJPW's first ever ladder match to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, and in 2018, he held the NEVER Openweight Championship, defeating Hirooki Goto and Taichi in a three way match.
