With experience in promotions like Fight Club Pro, PROGRESS and Chikara, Bate, who hails from Dudley, England, spent his formative years inside the ring inspired by one of the more eclectic groups you'll ever hear - Johnny Saint, Steve Grey and "The Big Red Monster" Kane. Bate is a decorated Superstar in NXT having won the NXT UK Tag Team Championships as well as the NXT UK Championship, and now he wants more in NXT. After bringing the NXT UK Title across the pond for a thrilling Title for Title Match with Bron Breakker at NXT Worlds Collide, Bate is using his zen mindset to carve out a new path in the United States. Bate made his SmackDown debut on the New Year's Revolution 2024 episode, teaming with Pete Dunne to form New Catch Republic and dispatch of Pretty Deadly.
