Having received training from his father, the legendary King Haku himself, Tanga Loa first appeared in a New Japan ring in March of 2016, joining his brother Tama Tonga in the Guerrillas of Destiny and instantly seizing IWGP Tag Team gold.
In a four year span, G.o.D racked up six IWGP Tag Team Championships. Though their 2020 was disrupted by the global pandemic, Tonga was bound and determined to head into 2021 by banishing the two curses that had haunted G.o.D through their careers.
December 15 2020 saw G.o.D win the World Tag League for the first time, thanks to the aid of mentor Jado and BULLET CLUB brother KENTA. Weeks later, and G.o.D's second curse, that of never having won in the Tokyo Dome, was vanquished, as the brothers defeated Dangerous Tekkers to lift the IWGP Tag Team titles for a record seventh time. The franchise team of NJPW seem to have done it all: what lies in wait in 2021?
