Chase Owens

After cutting his teeth on the American indie circuit, Chase Owens won the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship, a title he defended on his NJPW debut at King of Pro Wrestling 2014. Joining BULLET CLUB and then transitioning into the heavyweight ranks, Owens became the faction's 'glue guy': someone who can team effectively with any combination of partners against any opponents. Though he has never been able to secure a championship in NJPW to date, he's a dangerous figure both in Japan and in the US on NJPW STRONG. Owens started his 2021 in the New Japan Ranbo to kick off Wrestle Kingdom 15. Despite hailing from Tennessee, he drew inspiration from great Texans, to go from number one right to the end, but was foiled in the following four way for the KOPW 2021 trophy by Toru Yano. Heading back to Texas, he won the Texas Heavyweight Championship, but the title wasn't enough for him to beat yano in a YTR Strap Match. Can the King of Texas become the King of Pro-Wrestling in 2021?
