Ryusuke Taguchi

Notoriously eccentric, what Taguchi may lack in raw strength he more than makes up for in charisma and ability. Upon debuting in February 2002 in New Japan, he showed a knack for both submissions and aerial assaults. Taguchi's efforts finally bore fruit in 2006 when he won the IWGP Junior Tag Team Championships with El Samurai, and the next year he defeated Minoru Tanaka for his first IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. Together with Prince Devitt as the tag team Apollo 55, he became a firm fan favourite, and an impressive tag team wrestler. Apollo 55 dominated the junior tag ranks, with four reigns between 2010 and 2012. In all, Taguchi is a six time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team, three time NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team, and two time IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion. His comedic performance belies incredible in ring ability that make him a force to be reckoned with on any given night.
